Personal Electronics
Students at Barker Road MS are expected to store all personal electronic devices (smartwatches, tablets, ear buds, gaming systems etc.) in their lockers throughout the school day. If a student chooses to bring personal electronic devices, they must be stored in lockers prior to the start of first period (7:35am). All personal electronic devices should remain in lockers until the end of 9th period (2:24pm).
The Pittsford Central school district is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Students are encouraged to leave valuable items at home.
Communication Plan for Middle School
Urgent Messages
Parents/guardians who need to speak with their student immediately should call the main office phone number at (585)267-1800. The student will be brought to the main office to contact their parent/guardian.
Non-Urgent Message
Parents/guardians who need to have a non-urgent message delivered to their student should call the main office phone number (585)267-1800. The message will be written down and shared with your student.
Student to Parent Communication
Students will have access to the school phone that is located in the main office to contact parents/guardians. Main office staff can assist students with looking up parent/guardian information if students do not have these numbers memorized.
